Dido	Don`t Believe In Love	Named after an ancient queen, Dido studied law at Birbeck, University of London.
Blur	Girls and Boys	Look out for Damon Albarn`s opera; Monkey, A Journey To The West.
Annie Lennox	Whiter Shade Of Pale	Said to be the greatest white female singer of all time.
George Michael	Faith	Made his name with the duo called Wham.
Underworld	Born Slippy	A dance anthem from the film Trainspotting.
Stereo MCs	Connected	DJs and remixers known for their work with Madonna.
The Shamen	Destination Eschaton	The final artists of the week are from Aberdeen, also in Scotland, where they are popular for their dance tracks.

The Beatles	Come Together	Released 31 October 1969,this song shot to the number 1 spot in the U.S.
Razorlight	Wire to Wire	Anglo-Swedish band best known for their No. 1 song America from the album of the same name
The Buzzcocks	Ever Fallen In Love?	their most popular song. Manchester band led by Pete Shelley
Annie Lennox	Take Me To The River	formerly part of the Eurythmics, she has sold over 80 million discs world-wide
The Rolling Stones	You Can`t Always Get What You Want	formed in 1962, they`ve sold over 200 million albums
Average White Band	Pick Up The Pieces	white funk from Scotland
Corner Shop	Brimfull of Asha	two guys from Leceister produced by Norman Cooke, one of the UK`s top DJ`s and former Housemartin
The Troggs	Wild Thing	60`s anthem used in many ads

Mika	Another World	London based Michael H Penniman also writes songs and TV jingles. He has appeared at the Royal Opera House.
The Verve	Bitter Sweet Symphony	Back in the charts thanks to their hit `Love is Noise.` Here is a re-release that`s also selling very well.
Coldplay	Viva La Vida	Formed in 1998 at the University College, London, Their super hit was 'Yellow'.
Xpress 2	Lazy	Xpress 2 are 3 London DJ`s who have joined up with David Byrne for this dance remix.
Razorlight	Wire to Wire	They have been a support act for some of the biggest names in rock including Queen. The song America was their biggest title.
Squeeze	Tempted	Their most well known hit was 'Cool for Cats'. Squeeze recently reformed and are currently touring the United States.
Kinks	You Really Got Me Going	Two brothers and their friends who were huge in the 60's and 70's. Listen to their song 'Lola' too.
New Order	The Beach	Originally named Joy Division, New Order are from Manchester.
The Smiths	This Charming Man	Yet another Manchester band with Morrisey on vocals and Johnny Marr on guitar.
David Bowie	The Man Who Sold The World	David allegedly has one green and one blue eye. He is married to ex super model Iman.
Radiohead	Weird Fishes	Certainly one of the U.K.'s most popular bands, they are all ex-public schoolboys from Oxfordshire.
The Beatles	Hello Goodbye	Liverpool's Fab 4. Britain's greatest boy band ever.
