Salford Business School encourages innovative teaching techniques, particularly on the MBA programme's Management Development and Creativity module. In collaboration with Adrenaline Brush Ltd, the students recently participated in a conceptual art workshop.
Several exciting group pieces were produced. The themes that emerged from the workshop were the need for:

The students' reaction to the workshop was positive; one student's comments referred to the "usefulness of creativity in teams and using art as a tool to encourage problem solving and negotiation", while another thought that the excercise helped students "to use the other part of the brain, i.e. to think more deeply. To not only see what we see generally but to consider many hidden aspects of the picture."
