Stirling University Joins Elite Group of Global CFA Program Partner Institutions

Taiwanese students considering a career in the field of Accounting, Banking or Finance will find the number of related courses on offer at Stirling extremely exciting. For many years now, Stirling has welcomed Taiwanese students across a range of disciplines. In recent years a growth has been noticed in students coming to study MSc Banking and Finance, MSc Finance, MSc International Accounting and Finance and MSc Investment Analysis. Recent events at Stirling should therefore be excellent news for prospective students – particularly those thinking of our programme in Investment Analysis.

The professional body that educates Chartered Financial Analysts all over the world, the CFA Institute, recently announced that the University of Stirling has been recognised as a Program Partner. The first institution in Scotland to receive this prestigious accolade, and one of a small number of select Partner institutions worldwide, the University won this recognition by covering a significant portion of the CFA Program curriculum (the Candidate Body of Knowledge) in its one year Masters programme in Investment Analysis.

投資分析碩士課程的主任 Kevin Campbell博士也說：我們對於能成為 CFA的合作夥伴感到榮幸。這代表本校投資分析的碩士課程不但專業、創新，而且領先全球。

Dr Kevin Campbell, MSc in Investment Analysis Programme Director, welcomed the announcement, saying: “We are very pleased to have been chosen as a CFA Program Partner. This recognition by the CFA Institute sends a clear message to potential students and employers that the MSc in Investment Analysis provides an education that is professionally relevant, cutting edge and internationally respected.”

投資分析碩士課程的師資是由本校獲得 RAE 5分評鑑的會計金融系所的老師們來授課。本系自1989年開辦以來，一向是大學部熱門課程，許多畢業生目前在業界有優越的成就和地位，它是全國投資管理教育領域中最早建立的研究課程，目前有來自世界各地61位留學生。

The MSc in Investment Analysis is delivered by staff from the RAE 5 rated Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Stirling. The programme has been an attractive option for postgraduate students since its inception in 1989 and has produced many graduates who now occupy key positions in the investment management profession and in related fields. It is the oldest-established masters programme in the field of investment management education in the UK. Sixty one students from around the globe are currently enrolled on the programme.
